Organisation-wide Teams webhooks provide centralized, automated monitoring of all change management activities across your entire organisation. Unlike company-specific webhooks that require manual selection, org-wide webhooks operate silently in the background, ensuring management and compliance teams never miss critical change notifications.
How It Works
Automatic Background Notifications
When you configure an org-wide webhook, it automatically fires for every change across all companies in your organisation that matches its configured change type. Users creating changes don't see these webhooks in their dropdown menus, they work completely behind the scenes.
Example Scenario:
- Your organisation has 10 client companies
- You create an org-wide webhook for "All Change Types"
- Every change created in any of those 10 companies will trigger a notification to your webhook
- Users creating changes are unaware this monitoring is happening
Change Type Filtering
Org-wide webhooks can be configured to monitor specific types of changes:
- All Change Types - Monitors every change regardless of type
- Standard Changes Only - Only pre-approved, low-risk changes
- Normal Changes Only - Standard business changes requiring approval
- Emergency Changes Only - Critical, time-sensitive changes
This allows you to create targeted monitoring channels. For example:
- Security team monitors all emergency changes
- Management receives notifications for all normal changes
- Compliance team tracks all change types
